CJ Olive Young is going to start a project to support children whose protection ends in South Korea.
CJ Olive Young announced on the 6th that it held a launching ceremony for the first "Olive Young Girls' Education Supporters"
to support children with terminating protection in Korea with the Children's and Future Foundation, a social welfare corporation.
Under the Child Welfare Act, children who are 18 years old and have to leave child care facilities, and the need to support self-reliance
has been raised as a social issue as well as resolve prejudice against those who have just come out of society.
The first "Olive Young Girls' Education Supporters," which was launched for the first time this year, consists of 16 college students
selected through document and interview screening and four children with terminating protection. Four college students and one child with terminating protection
will be a team and will carry out various activities such as video production to improve awareness of children with terminating protection until December.
The launching ceremony, held on the 5th, was held using the online video conference system "Zoom" to practice social distance caused by coronavirus19.
Starting with welcoming greetings from supporters, the program was conducted in the order of introducing the girl education project and supporters'
activities, recreation for friendship development, and education to help understanding children who have finished their protection.
