Shinhan Financial Hope Foundation today announced that it received the Presidential Commendation Award 

at the Family Month Ceremony and Government Award for Meritorious Family Policy, organized by the Ministry of Gender Equality and Family.

Shinhan Financial Hope Foundation was recognized for its contribution to preventing women's career breaks, promoting family welfare, 

and fostering an equal family culture through the 'Shinhan Dream Doula' program, which was launched in 2018 through a business agreement 

with the Ministry of Gender Equality and Family. Shinhan Dream Doula is a care facility for elementary school children from dual-income families 

to spend time after school. To date, 123 Shinhan Dream Doula Centers have been opened, and 894,000 children have used the facility. 

Shinhan Financial Hope Foundation plans to increase the number of Shinhan Dream Doula Centers to 200 by next year.

The award ceremony, held at the Korea Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Namdaemun-ro, Seoul, on March 20, 

was attended by Minister of Gender Equality Kim Hyun-sook (second from left) and Ahn Jun-sik, 

Vice President of Group Brand Promotion at Shinhan Financial Holdings.
